Our Story
We bring adventure into the lives of female-identifying travellers who are inspired by mother nature, herstory, the moon, the stars and magic.
SheLegends was born from a shared desire to physically connect with ancient feminine history. We are international women who established our lives and families in the gorgeous country that is Italy. Jess lives full time in Tuscany and Miche in Sicily.
Our passions spiraled into action with the launch of SheLegends and the mission to share our secrets of the Mediterranean with other wisdom seeking, adventurous women.
SheLegends is part of the greater feminine rising movement and is part of our goal to leave behind meaningful legacies for our respective Sardinian/Kiwi and Sicilian/American children.

We are women who have built our lives in Italy and want to share with you
the magic of our worlds in Sicily and Tuscany...
Miche
Living in Sicily
Miche (Michelle Titus) is in love with the volcano (Etna) that she lives on, and her utmost travel aspiration is to visit the northernmost borders of Scotland, so that the cold wet wind can lick her face.
When it comes to her work, female community has always been at the epicenter. She is the founder/owner of Cummari, Europe’s first coliving concept for female travellers and artists. She is also the co-founder of Zingarelle di Sicilia, a community of international women whose lives are rooted in Sicily.
In a previous chapter, Miche created and managed several female led publishing firms and was an international correspondent for China and Brazil.
Miche spent her childhood in the Hudson Valley, New York but has since lived around the world through her work. Since 2018, she has called Sicily her home and hearth.
Jess
Living in Tuscany
Hailing from the south pacific, Jessica "Jess" Morton first journeyed to Italy to follow her dream of working with horses internationally.
Residing permanently in Italy since 2006, she is now a certified sports journalist accredited by the International Sports Press Association and a licensed Italian Equestrian Environmental Guide (Guida Equestri Ambientali) and lives on a sheep farm near Volterra with her dogs, cat and three horses.
For over a decade, she has led groups of riders through the most remote corners of Tuscany and Lazio - an experience that has acquainted her intimately with the lesser-known highlights of the region, and the stories that are rarely told.
After a knee injury curtailed her career in the saddle, she decided to embark on a new mission with Shelegends - that of uncovering the hidden stories of sacred sites and historical figures of the past, to share with others via transformational travel.
Buried by over-domestication, outlawed by the surrounding culture, no longer understood. We may have forgotten her names, we have not answered when she calls ours, but in our bones we know her, we yearn toward her, we know she belongs to us and we to her.
